20:11 Memory and Justice

On 18 September 2026, from 5:00pm, the RAM Club at La Rambleta hosts «20:11 Memoria y justicia», a gathering with associations of victims of the DANA floods of 29 October 2024, ahead of the performance of the play «Zumo de Remolacha» in the main hall.

What happens at the gathering

The event is conceived as a space to take stock of these years of struggle and pay tribute to those affected by the flooding. Representatives of DANA victims' associations take part, alongside affected people, experts and social organisations. Entry to the gathering is free until capacity is reached, with no need to book in advance.

The play that closes the day: «Zumo de Remolacha»

Once the gathering ends, the programme moves to the theatre for a performance of «Zumo de Remolacha», written by Tomás Verdú from a letter that the ecologist Fernando Valladares (CSIC, Premio Jaume I) wrote on his way to the Congress of Deputies during a Rebelión Científica action. Valladares plays himself in a train journey that works as an allegory for the climate emergency; the production, directed by Isabel Martí, weaves explicit references to the October 2024 DANA into the text, staging and costumes. The play premiered in this same hall in October 2025.

• Gathering (5pm, RAM Club): free entry until capacity is reached.
• Theatre «Zumo de Remolacha»: access via «Fila 0» — download the invitation with the option of a donation (minimum €1) — according to this performance's own programme.
• Getting there: La Rambleta is on Plaza Lorena Palau, s/n, in the Sant Marcel·lí neighbourhood. Metro (FGV) lines 1, 2 and 7, Patraix or Safranar stops; EMT bus lines 9, 10, 99 and N6.
• Parking: the building has its own car park, open 24 hours (€2 for the first hour, €1.50 for each following hour).
