The world's oldest active music band contest celebrates its 140th anniversary with an extended edition from July 15 to 19 at the Palau de la Música de València. 44 music societies (24 competing) from the Valencian Community, the rest of Spain, and from Lithuania, Italy, Portugal, and the Netherlands participate, with free concerts until full capacity is reached.
