Which of the two nights

Both dates are the same show, so the choice is logistical. Friday means crossing the city after work, in the worst traffic of the week. Saturday leaves Sunday free to travel home slowly or stay an extra day, and it is usually the one that sells out first. If you are coming from another province, Saturday causes fewer problems.

Getting to Roig Arena

The Roig Arena sits in Quatre Carreres, south-east of the old town, near the Ciutat de les Arts. Metro or city bus plus a ten-minute walk is the efficient way in and out — wide, well-lit avenues, and no queue of cars afterwards. A 21:00 start is normal here, and so is eating after the show rather than before.

Making a weekend of it

Early September is one of the better weeks of the year in València: still hot, the sea still warm, and noticeably emptier than August now that Spanish holidays have ended.
