The Worlds of Alice. Dreaming Wonderland
"Los mundos de Alicia. Soñar el país de las maravillas" (The Worlds of Alice. Dreaming Wonderland) is the major exhibition that CaixaForum València devotes to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, running from 16 April to 12 October 2026. Organised by the "la Caixa" Foundation in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and curated by Kate Bailey, it brings together 255 objects and works of art tracing 160 years of one of the most influential characters in world literature. The show is structured in five sections —"The Invention of Alice", "Through the Screen", "Alice, Gateway to Other Worlds", "Alice on Stage" and "Becoming Alice"— exploring the character's origins and her reinventions across literature, film, photography, fashion, design, science and theatre. After being shown in Barcelona, Madrid and Zaragoza, where it drew more than 345,000 visitors, it arrives in Valencia with original drawings, costumes, photographs and immersive projections. General admission is 4 €, and the venue is located at Calle de Eduardo Primo Yúfera, 1A.
