Papi Gavi at Roig Arena

The Roig Arena is the city's big indoor venue, on Calle Bomber Ramón Duart in Quatre Carreres, south of the Turia riverbed and close to the Ciutat de les Arts. It holds thousands, which means everything — entry, the bar, leaving — runs on queues and numbered gates.

What a perreo party in an arena is

"Perreo" is the close, hip-driven way of dancing to reggaeton, and it names the format: this is a party rather than a conventional concert with one artist and a stage time. DJs, screens, urban and reggaeton tracks back to back. In these setups the arena floor is usually standing and the tiers are seated, and that changes the night completely — on the floor you dance and see little, in the seats you see everything and dance less. Getting there, and getting home

Metro line 10 stops at Quatre Carreres, a few minutes' walk away, and reaches Alacant station in the centre in about eight minutes. Arriving is easy; leaving is the problem. València's metro is not a 24-hour system, and a late party can finish after it has shut. Before doors
