Som Paiporta 2026
More plans that weekend
What's on this weekend in València →Som Paiporta 2026 takes place on 18 and 19 September in Valencia. Saturday features family workshops and activities for dogs, CPR, and emergency response. Participants can join as members or ambassadors and donate.
Paiporta closes out the summer with two days of music, workshops and charity activities at its new fairground, a stone's throw from the metro station. Som Paiporta began as a village festival built around bringing people together, and that's still its scale: you walk in and out, with no queues or wristbands, something anyone coming from the capital's big festivals will appreciate. If you're after more ideas for that weekend in València, the guide has the rest.
What's on each day
Friday 18th kicks off the musical side in the late afternoon and evening. Saturday 19th the programme opens up to families: children's workshops from 12:00 to 14:00, displays by the K-9 police dog unit and CPR and emergency demonstrations open to anyone who wants to have a go. It's an unusual format — festival and public-awareness activities on the same site — and it works especially well with children.
Entry and membership pass
Access to the site is free. There's also a €25 member or ambassador pass that includes an official T-shirt and three drinks, with the proceeds going to the festival's charitable side; it isn't needed to get in. If you're after cost-free plans, the guide to free things to do in Valencia brings together the rest of the options.
How to get there
The site is right next to the Paiporta metro stop, making it one of the few events in l'Horta that's easier to reach without a car than with one; that's just as well, since parking nearby fills up early. The guide to getting around València explains routes and timetables, the festival calendar has the rest of the autumn's dates in Valencia, and pueblos covers the nearby getaways if you want to make a day of it.
