XII Gay Games València 2026
The XII Gay Games València 2026 are one of the world's largest LGBTIQ+ sporting and cultural events, built on the principles of participation, inclusion and personal best, taking place from 27 June to 4 July 2026. Valencia expects to welcome over 10,000 athletes from across the globe to compete in 39 sports disciplines open to all genders and levels, plus two exhibition sports rooted in Valencian tradition: colpbol and pilota valenciana. The competition is spread across more than fifty venues throughout the city, with the opening ceremony held at the Estadi Ciutat de València on 27 June and the closing ceremony on 4 July, both featuring shows, dance, concerts and award presentations. The cultural programme complements the sport with the International Rainbow Memorial Run, the Pride Bands Festival, the Choral Festival, a queer film festival, a fashion show and numerous workshops and talks. Participant accreditation includes access to the village, the ceremonies, six days of cultural activities, spectator entry to the venues, a welcome bag and a public-transport pass; registration is now closed, though tickets to attend the ceremonies are available.
