Paseo en barca por la Albufera

The Albufera boat ride is a roughly 50-minute trip across the lagoon in a traditional flat-bottomed boat. It runs every day and costs around 7 euros per person. The time to go is sunset, when the light drops over the water and the herons and ducks head back into the reeds.

The main jetty is in El Palmar, a fishing village set inside the natural park about 15 km from the centre.
