Marjal i Parc Natural de l'Albufera (término de Massanassa)

The Marjal de Massanassa area, within the Albufera Natural Park, preserves rice fields, ditches and ullals with native Mediterranean flora and fauna, including protected species such as the samaruc and the fartet. The Marjal area is home to a unique variety of flora and fauna native to the Mediterranean. The ullals are natural drainages of great biogeographic value, refuge for fauna such as the samaruc and the fartet. The term extends to the Albufera de Valencia to the southeast. It is located in the eastern area of ​​the term, towards the Albufera.
