What to see in Bétera
Bétera, about 16 km from València, is a town of the Camp de Túria with about 28,500 residents. The centre holds the castle-palace and flat streets, with the market gardens beside it.
The Boïl castle-palace, a provincial historic-artistic monument, was restored in 2022. Outside the town, the walled Tos Pelat Iberian settlement, excavated since the 1920s, and the Bofilla tower, a 17-metre Islamic farmstead abandoned after the 1348 plague.
