Microconcerts Cycle at CaixaForum Valência

The series has been running since 15 August and continues to 12 October at CaixaForum València, inside the Àgora building at the City of Arts and Sciences. The format is what the name says: short concerts, free entry, spread over almost two months. The programme mixes classical, electronic, jazz, swing, singer-songwriter material and world music.

Free entry — what to check anyway

Free does not mean you can simply turn up. Our source does not give the start times, the specific dates, or whether you need to collect a pass or book a seat, and in a series like this that changes the plan considerably. Getting there, and parking

The address is Carrer d'Eduardo Primo Yúfera 1. From the centre the pleasant way in is down the old Turia riverbed — the river was diverted after the 1957 flood and the bed is now a continuous park — walking or cycling about three kilometres without crossing traffic. Before or after the concert
