El Kuelgue Concert in València
The Argentine group El Kuelgue, known for mixing funk, jazz, candombe, rock, bossa nova, tango, and reggae, will perform at the Roig Arena in Valencia on September 6, 2026. Doors open at 20:00 and tickets are available from 33 €.
El Kuelgue play the Roig Arena, the covered arena in the Quatre Carreres district at Carrer del Bomber Ramón Duart 12, south-east of the old town. It is indoors and air-conditioned, which matters in early September when València stays warm well after dark. Doors are listed at 20:00. In Spain a door time is not a start time — the main set usually begins some way after it, so check the venue's own page rather than assuming.
Getting to the Roig Arena without a car
The arena sits near the southern end of the old Turia riverbed, a short walk from the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències. Walking down the sunken park from the centre takes a little over half an hour and is the simplest route: it is lit and busy in the evening. Metro and EMT city buses also serve the area — if you are here for several days, a rechargeable travel card beats single tickets (see getting around València). Driving is the slow option; nearby streets fill up before a full house, and the parking guide is worth reading first. Expect a crush at the stops for the first twenty minutes after the show.
Eating before the show
Valencian kitchens tend to close in the afternoon and reopen around 20:00, and dinner at 21:00 is normal here rather than late. Russafa, on the way from the centre, has the densest choice at that hour — see the Russafa neighbourhood guide and the tapas guide. With a free afternoon beforehand, the Oceanogràfic and the rest of the Ciutat de les Arts complex are within walking distance of the arena.
Tickets
Tickets start at €33. Seating zones, access times and any bag rules are published on the official page — confirm there before buying anywhere else.
