Every August 15, Bétera, in Valencia, is filled with the unmistakable scent of basil on the most important day of its festivities dedicated to Mare de Déu d'Agost. The figures of the workers and the umbrella bearers accompany various monumental basil plants. The cossieters and the bearers of the alfàbegues also stand out.
