La Ruina
La Ruina is a show where audience members and guests share their most embarrassing stories. Comedians Ignasi Taltavull and Tomàs Fuentes host the show, joined by a special guest. Each performance is unique and unpredictable, and it is recommended for ages 18 and up.
La Ruina runs at La Rambleta from 10 to 12 September 2026. Tickets are €27.50 plus a €2 booking fee and the show is for over-18s. The format is plain: audience members and guests tell their most embarrassing stories, with comedians Ignasi Taltavull and Tomàs Fuentes hosting alongside a special guest. Nothing is scripted, so no two nights come out the same. It is an entirely spoken show, delivered fast — without solid Spanish, most of it will pass you by. Start times for each night are on the venue's page.
Where La Rambleta is
This is not a city-centre theatre. La Rambleta sits on Bulevar Sud, on the southern edge of València next to the Parc de la Rambleta, well outside the old town, and it is too far to walk from Ciutat Vella. City buses run out that way and a taxi from the centre is short. Work out the return trip before you go — late-night services are thin. The transport guide covers travel cards and timetables, and if you drive, where to park is worth a look, though street parking is easier here than downtown.
Making an evening of it
Spanish show times run late by northern-European standards, and so does dinner: kitchens in most neighbourhoods shut in the afternoon and reopen around 20:00, so eating at 21:00 is normal rather than late. Eat in the centre first — the tapas guide has options — then head south. If you are in town for a few days, the weekend agenda lists what else is on.
