Cabanyal Seafront Summer Market
The Summer Market on the Cabanyal Seafront Promenade is the traditional seaside market that the València City Council sets up every year along the maritime promenade of Cabanyal beach, roughly between the Las Arenas spa hotel and the Akuarela Playa venue. For its 2026 edition it features up to 81 prefabricated stalls measuring 3 × 3 metres, run through municipal street-trading authorizations. The offering centres on handicrafts, leather goods, costume jewellery, semi-precious stones, ceramics, prints, drawings, paintings and wooden items, plus beach products such as pareos, swimwear, tunics and kaftans, t-shirts, bermuda shorts, linen shirts, espadrilles and sunglasses. The season runs from 1 June to 30 September, with usual opening hours of 11:00 to 23:00 from Monday to Thursday and 11:00 to midnight from Friday to Sunday. Entry to the market is free and open to all, perfect for combining a stroll along the seafront with some summer shopping. It is a well-established fixture in the city, held continuously since 1999.
