Tasta el Mareny - Gastronomic Fair
Tasta el Mareny is the gastronomic fair of El Mareny de Barraquetes, a coastal village belonging to Sueca and set within the Albufera Natural Park, which in 2026 celebrates its 11th edition from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June. Organised by the local authority of El Mareny de Barraquetes, the fair fills the central streets of the village (Iglesia, Joventut, Sant Josep and La Mar) with stalls of local produce, tapas tastings and regional cuisine driven by the agriculture of the Ribera Baixa, where fruit and vegetables take centre stage and melon stands out as the emblematic summer product. The event blends gastronomy with live music, concerts, entertainment and activities for all ages, including family- and child-friendly programming. With the beach nearby, it celebrates the village's seafaring and farming identity and gives a leading role to local hospitality and commerce.
