FTalks Food Summit in València
The eighth edition of the foodtech forum ftalks Food Summit takes place on September 16, 2026, at Las Naves de Valencia. The event brings together international speakers to discuss decarbonization, food security, new proteins, AI, and water management, with talks, demonstrations, and new-generation gastronomy stands.
Ftalks is a conference, not a food fair you can wander into: foodtech talks with international speakers. This is the eighth edition, held on 16 September 2026 at Las Naves, València city council's innovation centre. The announced topics are decarbonisation, food security, new proteins, artificial intelligence and water management, and the programme also includes demonstrations and next-generation gastronomy stands.
What to expect
A full day of talks plus a tasting area is as much about who you meet in the breaks as about the panels. The detailed programme, the confirmed speakers and the registration price are on the official page and change up to the last minute, so we do not reproduce them here. If the food stands interest you more than the panels, check first whether they are open to everyone or only to registered attendees.
Getting to Las Naves
Las Naves is outside the historic centre, so from a central hotel expect a city bus, tram or bike ride rather than a walk. València is flat and the bike-lane network covers most routes, which makes cycling the fastest option for short cross-town hops. Confirm the exact address on the official page before you set out. Fares, travel cards and how the metro, tram and bus fit together are explained in getting around València.
Eating in València the same day
A day of food talks tends to leave you actually hungry. The Central Market is the obvious midday stop, though note it trades in the morning and closes in the afternoon. For what to order, see what to eat in València and where to eat the best paella — and be aware that lunch here starts around 14:00, not 12:00. If you finish early, Malva-rosa beach is one tram ride from the centre.
