Moros y Cristianos del Marítimo — Cabanyal
The Cabanyal Moors and Christians festival is the Marítimo celebration, with costumed groups, music, staged embassies and a medieval market by the sea.
The Cabanyal Moors and Christians festival is València’s Marítimo celebration, organised by Agrupación de Comparsas de Moros y Cristianos Marítimo. It is a separate festival from FeVaMiC’s city-centre celebration, with its own organisation and programme.
What happens and where
The main parade follows Calle de la Reina; the seaside celebration takes place around Paseo de Neptuno. Costumed groups, marching bands, staged embassies and a medieval fair are part of the festival. Explore the neighbourhood through our Cabanyal page.
Last edition and next announcement
The September 2026 edition ran from the 17th to the 20th. Those dates describe that edition, rather than setting a rule for next year. Check the municipal information about the association and festival and the annual programme before planning your visit. The next edition remains subject to confirmation.
Planning your visit
Choose an activity and check its location: the parade and market are distinct from the city-centre events. Street events have free admission; check conditions for individual activities and purchases separately.
