With children, without paying
On Sunday at 11:30, in the Paiporta square, Sargantana Circ Inclusiu runs a circus workshop inside the programme Visit València marks as free. That is the morning slot. Foc Místic on Saturday is at 22:30. In the city, Fine Arts covers Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00, last entry 19:30. The Almudín on Sunday closes at 14:00, so it fits in the morning, around the MuVIM queue at 11:00. At Open House the limit is capacity and the length of each visit. With the programme in hand, two nearby buildings are easier than the full list. The pass is personal.
This afternoon and tonight
Today is Wednesday 21. Through the afternoon Fine Arts stays open until 20:00 and the Almudín until 19:00. At 19:00, Lluís Vich is at La Nau if the invitation is already booked. After those three close, the pages checked do not list another free event with a published time for the rest of the night. On Friday night the timed plan is whichever Open House building is still on the programme. On Saturday in Paiporta the sheet has 20:00 and 22:30. On Sunday in Paiporta the last time on the sheet is 20:00, and in the morning MuVIM is at 12:00.
If it rains this weekend
Indoors and free: Fine Arts, the Almudín, Open House visits inside a building, the Saturday IVAM tours, and the MuVIM concert. Paiporta is a square. If the weather turns, the show that counts is the one still on valencirc.com that day. In the Open House programme, each building's line says whether the visit is indoors. In rain, use those covered addresses.
Getting there
La Nau is at Universitat 2 and the Almudín is at Sant Lluís Bertran 2, in the old centre. Fine Arts lists EMT buses 6, 11, 16, 26, 94, 95 and C2, and metro Alameda and Pont de Fusta. MuVIM lists the metro and bus lines in the Sunday section. The Paiporta card does not name a bus line worth repeating: the meeting point is Plaça del 3 d'abril. On Sunday, from 08:25 to 14:00, the half marathon starts on Avinguda de Tarongers. Read the mobility notice before you try to drive across the city.
The weekend after this one
Open House ends on Sunday 25. On the festival site, ValenCirc also runs through 25 October. The La Nau cycle continues, still with an invitation: Tuesday 27 October at 19:00 is Sérénade in the Sala de la Muralla at Colegio Mayor Rector Peset, Forn de Sant Nicolau square 4, and Wednesday 4 November at 19:00 is Compositores valencianes in the Capella de la Sapiència. Both are in the Music Club PDF, bookable from 72 hours before.
For Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, the published list is today's agenda when that week arrives. The undated shape of a weekend is in what to do in Valencia at the weekend. A paid concert at Roig Arena is read on the venue's card, with its own price and time.
