Roig Arena Valencia: how to get there, parking and tips before you go

—

In short: Roig Arena is at Calle del Bomber Ramón Duart, 12 (Quatre Carreres). The most direct route is Metrovalencia line 10 to Quatre Carreres, about five minutes on foot; EMT lines 7, 13, 14, 35 and 99 also stop nearby. The official car park (Avenida dels Germans Maristes, 16D) costs 0.05 euros per minute with a 30 euro daily maximum. Bags up to 25 litres, water up to 50 cl, and no re-entry.

Roig Arena is the largest indoor venue in Spain and sits in the Quatre Carreres district, next to the City of Arts and Sciences area. It opened on 6 September 2025 with the tribute concert "Bravo, Nino", and it now hosts concerts, Valencia Basket games and events of all kinds. This guide collects what you need on the day you have a ticket: how to get there, where to leave the car, when to turn up and what you can take inside. It has no concert dates, because they go stale fast. For those, use the Roig Arena agenda, which updates itself.

The practical details (parking, entry rules, transport) come from the venue's own website and from Metrovalencia. Rules can change from one event to the next, so always read the conditions on your ticket.

Where it is and what it is

The address is Calle del Bomber Ramón Duart, 12, 46013 València (Quatre Carreres). Put that in your satnav or map app. The venue says the main space holds up to 20,000 people; for basketball the official capacity is 15,200, and there is also an auditorium for up to 2,000. For a general profile of the building, see our Roig Arena page.

Getting there by public transport

Tram (Metrovalencia line 10)

This is the most direct option. The nearest stop is Quatre Carreres on line 10, which the venue puts at about five minutes on foot. On line 10, Quatre Carreres sits between Amado Granell-Montolivet and Ciutat Arts i Ciències-Justícia. The line starts at the Alacant station and calls at Russafa on the way. Metrovalencia says its whole network is accessible except València Sud station.

On very busy days FGV (the company that runs Metrovalencia) has put on special services on line 10, for example for the 2026 World Cup final, with trams running to Quatre Carreres. There is no fixed rule for concerts, so check times and frequencies on metrovalencia.es, in its app or on the free phone line 900 46 10 46 before you go. After a concert, check the last service home too.

EMT bus

The venue says lines 7, 13, 14, 35 and 99 of the EMT have a stop nearby. Its website does not give stop names or event-day frequencies, and I could not confirm them either. The safest approach is to enter Roig Arena as the destination in the EMT app or a route planner on the day. For the rest of the city, see our guide to getting around Valencia.

Taxi and ride-hailing

The venue lists two taxi ranks: Avenida de Antonio Ferrandis, 22 (next to door E) and Calle del Bomber Ramón Duart, 17. Uber is the official mobility partner and has a dedicated pick-up point on level -1 of the venue's private car park, reached from the Uber app. Expect heavy demand there after a big event: if you can, walk a few minutes and request the car further from the venue.

Arriving from the airport

To get from Manises into the centre, see our guide to the airport to the centre. From there, plan the last stretch to line 10 with the Metrovalencia app.

By car: the official car park and the street

The venue's car park is the Mapfre Parking Roig Arena on Avenida dels Germans Maristes, 16D. The venue says it is about 500 metres from the arena and has more than a thousand spaces. Here is what it publishes:

  • General hours: 08:00 to 00:00. On event days it stays open at least 90 minutes after the event ends. The last entry is 30 minutes before closing.
  • Rate: 0.05 euros per minute, or 0.0333 euros per minute if you pay with the Roig Arena app. The daily maximum is 30 euros. At those rates four hours come to about 12 euros at the general rate and 8 with the app (my arithmetic, not the venue's).
  • How you pay: there is no paper ticket. You pay with the app or by scanning the QR codes around the venue. Cashiers are on floor 0 only.
  • Booking: the venue says reservations are not available yet.
  • Maximum height: 2.20 metres. A tall van or a motorhome will not fit.
  • Reduced mobility and EV charging: there are 32 spaces for people with reduced mobility (four per floor) and spaces with electric chargers, managed through the Iberdrola public charging app.
  • Overnight: overnight parking is not allowed.

Each space measures 2.40 by 4.80 metres. Details are on the official car park page.

Street parking nearby is another matter. I could not find an official source saying which ORA zones sit next to Roig Arena or what their hours are, so I will not give you details I cannot check. Read the sign and the colour of the kerb, and do not rely on what someone remembers from another area. If you would rather not gamble, the official car park or public transport are safer. How the ORA colours work in general is covered in where to park in Valencia.

Another option is to leave the car at a free Metrovalencia car park (Parking + Metro) and continue by tram or metro. Which stations have spaces, and how many, changes, so check the Metrovalencia intermodality page and work out the link to line 10 before you leave.

When to arrive

Door times are set per event and are not in the venue's general rules, so find them on the event listing or your ticket. Every open entrance has a security check, and that is the queue you will notice. My advice, which is not a Roig Arena rule: leave plenty of time, especially if you carry a bag that will be searched or you travel with children.

If you arrive late, the venue lets you in after the event has started until 15 minutes before it ends. In practice that means you can enter, having missed almost everything. And if you leave, you cannot come back in: re-entry is not allowed.

What you can bring and entry rules

These are the general rules published on the venue's website (in Spanish). Some events change them, and Valencia Basket games follow their own protocols.

  • Backpacks and bags: small ones only, up to 25 litres. Suitcases, boxes, non-folding umbrellas and bulky items are not allowed. What you cannot take in goes in the exterior lockers or the exterior cloakroom, which is paid.
  • Drink: water only, in a plastic container without a cap and up to 50 cl. No other drinks, alcohol included.
  • Food: the venue recommends not bringing food. Packaged food must not be in a rigid container or need cutlery, and sunflower seeds and chewing gum are not allowed.
  • Banners and flags: up to A3 and without a rigid pole or support.
  • Smoking and vaping: banned, indoors and outdoors.
  • Cameras: professional photo or video equipment needs the operator's permission, and you may not broadcast images or sound of the event.
  • Animals: accredited assistance dogs only.
  • Lost property: kept for up to 15 days at the security desk.

About your ticket: you must keep it (paper or on your phone) while you are inside, and tickets bought outside official channels can be refused. Children need their own ticket from age zero. The venue publishes no general rule about carrying ID. If your ticket is named, read the event conditions.

Accessibility

The venue says it has adapted entrances, several lifts, braille signage and a reserved area to watch the event. To sit there you need to buy a specific reduced-mobility ticket, and you may be asked for a disability certificate at the entrance. Each one includes a companion. Adapted toilets have baby-changing tables and there is a lactation room on ring 1. Reserved car park spaces are covered in the car section above. The rest of the practical information is in the venue's FAQ (in Spanish).

Food and drink

Inside there are more than 35 food and drink points on event days, according to the venue. There are also three restaurants: Poble Nou, Ultramarinos Roig and the Mercat de Roig Arena. Opening hours differ depending on whether there is an event (Poble Nou, for example, opens Thursday to Sunday evenings only on event days), so the safest thing is to read the restaurant page (in Spanish). Alcohol is neither sold nor drunk at sports events, and at other events it is served only to people over 18. If you reuse the venue's cup in good condition you get a reduced drink price (they call it the ECO rate).

How to use our Roig Arena agenda

The Roig Arena agenda lists the upcoming concerts, games and shows at the venue in date order. Use it to see what is on and when, and to jump to the page for each event. The organiser always confirms the start time and entry conditions, and tickets should be bought only through official channels: the venue's website or the sales points it links to (the limit is six tickets per purchase). If you are looking for a particular artist, open the agenda and see whether their date is listed; if it is not there, it may not be published yet.

What is nearby

Line 10 continues from Quatre Carreres to Ciutat Arts i Ciències-Justícia and Oceanogràfic, so if you want to add a plan you can combine the visit with the City of Arts and Sciences: the Oceanogràfic, the Museu de les Ciències and the Hemisfèric. For ideas on what to do before or after the event, see our guide to a weekend in Valencia.
