Castillo de Titaguas (Castillo de la Cabrera)
A fortress on a circular hill surrounded by ravines and escarpments, some seven kilometres north of the town, also called Castillo de la Cabrera. A stretch of wall closing the enclosure survives, along with two powerful towers on the west flank, the only accessible side. It is reached by track and waymarked trail.
The Castillo de Titaguas, also known as Castillo de la Cabrera, stands about seven kilometres north of the village, near the Ademuz road. The hill that holds it is surrounded by a ravine with vertical escarpments, except on the west flank. At that point a stretch of wall and two defensive towers survive, the visible elements of the former enclosure. The elevated position and the relief explain the choice of the site for a fortress of this kind, and the present access follows the line of the track and the waymarked trail.
