The Església parroquial de Nostra Senyora is the religious centre of Albuixec. The municipality also preserves an interesting civil heritage of Morisco farmsteads and market-garden houses, testimony to its agricultural past. That ensemble makes it possible to read the town from two angles, religious and domestic, which complement each other. The fallas of Sant Ramon and of rei En Jaume I are the two festive committees of the town and mark the local calendar. The church and the farmsteads thus share the same market-garden landscape, which explains much of the history of the locality.
