The church of the Asunción is the main parish church of Vall de Uxó, in the town centre. It is a Baroque church with a 17th-century altarpiece and a dome clad in glazed tile in the Valencian manner.

The church

The Baroque nave centres interest on the 17th-century altarpiece and the tiled dome, visible from several points of the old centre. The side chapels keep the images of local feast days. The second church of the town, Santo Ángel, serves the other quarter of the old centre.
