The Molí de Dalt o del Duc is the only mill left of the three that existed in the territory of el Real de Gandia. It was built around the middle of the 18th century and kept milling until the 1950s. The building stands on the acequia de l'Assut and retains the appearance of a hydraulic mill, with the infrastructure designed to make use of the water current. Its presence recalls the weight that milling had in the economy of the huerta and the traditional way of using water in the area.
