Platja de Tavernes
A sandy beach on the Tavernes coast, one of the municipality's two, together with the platja de la Goleta. Between them they add up to six kilometres of coastline and still show visible dunes, known locally as motes. Family-oriented, they host sports and cultural activities in summer, including the Sete Sóis Sete Luas festival.
The municipality of Tavernes has two sandy beaches, Tavernes and la Goleta, which together add up to six kilometres of coastline. The beach still preserves visible motes, or dunes, a feature that distinguishes the shoreline and can be seen while walking along the sand. In summer the beach hosts sports and cultural activities, including the Sete Sóis Sete Luas festival, which joins the life of the beach during the season. Together they form a wide stretch of coast with room for swimming and for seasonal events, and they keep a family character that defines everyday use of the shore.
