The route

The path links several balconies set above the gorge the Cabriel has cut into limestone: the hoces of la Fonseca, el Rabo de la Sartén, Vicente and el Purgatorio. Forest track alternates with narrower trails through pine woods and, being circular, you finish where you started.

What to see

The highlight is Los Cuchillos, vertical rock needles rising over the river and seen at dizzying angles from the viewpoints, between stretches of pine forest and Mediterranean scrub.
