Acueducto de los Arcos
An aqueduct traditionally considered Roman, although documents published in 2023 attribute it to the architect Vicente Gascó. It preserves five of the seven original arches and about 80 metres of the original 125. It was declared a historic-artistic monument in 1983 and is a Site of Cultural Interest.
The Acueducto de los Arcos was traditionally considered to be of Roman origin; however, in 2023 Bautista i Garcia attributed it to the architect Vicente Gascó. It originally had seven arches and 125 metres, while today five arches and about 80 metres survive. In 1983 it was declared a historic-artistic monument, with the status of a Site of Cultural Interest. The structure stands in Bejís and forms part of the municipality's most recognisable heritage. The revision of its authorship and the loss of part of the structure explain why it now appears as an incomplete but still eloquent complex.
