History
The town went up in the 4th century BC as a fortified Iberian city and was left centuries later. In 1931 the Guerrer de Moixent appeared here, an Iberian bronze now kept in the Valencia Prehistory Museum. Digging campaigns arranged the visitable site.
What to see
The walls, streets and houses of the town, with panels explaining Iberian life. The original warrior is in Valencia; in the town stand the Almohad castle and the church of San Pedro (1880-1889).
