The Tabarla site is a stretch of the Magro river and its banks, declared a Municipal Natural Site in 2007 at 68.42 ha. It lies 5 km upstream of the Forata reservoir and forms an entrenched fluvial valley between the Martés range and the Buñol hills, with riverside woods that give it a clear visual appeal. It is one of the most visited corners of Yátova for a Sunday morning.

Wildlife and vegetation

The site holds aquatic and riverside vegetation, Aleppo pine woods and scrub on the sunny slopes. Ibex stands out, alongside wild boar, fox, Iberian hare and birds such as Bonelli eagle, eagle owl and bee-eater. The council keeps replanting native species such as maples, ashes, hackberries and elms.
