History
The fortress guarded the coast and the northern road. In the early modern period the town moved down to the sea and the castle stayed as viewpoint and memory of defensive Oropesa. The enclosure is walked from outside, among towers and walls, with the sea always in view.

Walk the upper enclosure and the walls, free and from outside. Pair with the old town and the Paciencia church.
