The Casino de l'Amistat was raised by community initiative, with nearly 400 families taking part, and opened on 27 August 1911 as the home of the l'Amistat Artistic-Musical and Mutual Aid Society. Originally it housed a social hall, a small theatre and a fronton court. Now restored as a cultural centre, it holds a theatre and several local associations, from music groups to the chess club.
