Built around 1790, this water divider splits the flow of the Quart irrigation channel into two arms —one for Quart and one for Benàger— and still helps to water the market gardens of Quart, Manises, Aldaia, Alaquàs and part of Xirivella and Picanya today. It sits in the open air in a municipal park, beside the Sant Onofre hermitage. It is part of the historic Quart channel system, run by the Water Tribunal of Valencia, whose river weirs (azudes) were listed as Cultural Heritage Assets (BIC) in 2006.
