El Molón is an archaeological site occupied mainly in the Iberian and Andalusian periods. It lies on a hill beside the village of Camporrobles. From the pre-Roman period the fortification stands out, while from the Andalusian period its mosque is the most notable element. Those two phases of occupation explain the interest of the complex and allow construction solutions from different periods to be compared in one place. The site is visited along a waymarked route that organises the passage through the remains. The wall and the mosque are the two elements that best sum up that long occupation.
