Ermita de la Virgen del Remedio
A 14th-century chapel dedicated to the Virgin of El Remedio, partially destroyed during the Carlist wars and rebuilt in 1839. It stands outside the built-up area and remains a focus of local devotion. The Virgin of El Remedio is co-patron of Titaguas together with Jesús Nazareno.
The Ermita de la Virgen del Remedio is a 14th-century building. It was partially destroyed during the Carlist wars and rebuilt in 1839, which explains the current appearance of the complex. The patronal fiestas, in honour of Jesús Nazareno and the Virgin of El Remedio, are held in the first ten days of September, and devotion to the Virgin of El Remedio still has a prominent place in the life of the town. The chapel thus preserves a long history marked by destruction and reconstruction, and keeps its role in local religious life.
