Ermita de Santa Anna
The Ermita de Santa Anna, built on a small mound where tradition places the discovery of the image. Santa Anna is the patron saint of Albal and the site, with pines, a square and a fountain, hosts a pilgrimage on 3 February and on 26 July with porrat.
The Ermita de Santa Anna was built on a small mound where tradition places the discovery of the image. Santa Anna is the patron saint of Albal, and the pilgrimage is held on 3 February and on 26 July with porrat. The building was restored in 1943 and in 2005, two interventions that explain its present state and make it possible to read the layers of the building. The coincidence of two pilgrimage dates spreads the devotion across the year. The hermitage thus keeps a double dimension, religious and festive, tied to the place where the tradition begins.
