Font de la Serra
The spring supplying the village, with three spouts under willows, an 18th-century washhouse and the Remolí mill behind.
Font de la Serra is the spring supplying drinking water to Vall d'Ebo, in the Marina Alta, in the same province as Oliva. To get there head towards the pool, follow the river bank and cross a small bridge. The water runs from a trough under the willows to three spouts and a typical 18th-century washhouse. You arrive by car from València in about 100 minutes, and a typical visit lasts an hour.
Washhouse and mill
The three spouts pour by the 18th-century washhouse, kept as the village water heritage. Along a path behind the washhouse you reach the ruins of an old watermill of the same period, El Remolí. The whole is seen on a short walk, suited for children and with no climbing.
Visit notices
This is the village water supply: do not bathe in the spouts or the trough, keep the water clean and respect the washhouse as heritage. The spring stands by the channel, so keep off the river in spate and watch children on the small bridge. All year is good for a visit.
