Font d'en Gili
A fresh-water spring at the village exit, with a picnic spot, and the natural gateway to the Infern ravine.
Font d'en Gili is the fresh-water spring at the exit of Vall d'Ebo, in the Marina Alta, in the same province as Oliva. It is reached along a dirt track and the town council keeps it fitted with a picnic area. It is the natural gateway to the Barranc de l'Infern and a usual stop on the way to the ravine. You arrive by car from València in about 100 minutes, and a typical visit lasts an hour.
The ravine
The spring is a stop on the way to the ravine, not the ravine itself: beyond the picnic, the terrain turns serious and is only for equipped people with experience. Do not improvise the entry into the ravine from here.
Visit notices
The dirt track calls for driving calmly and parking without blocking the way. The spring water is fresh, but there is no published drinkability notice: bring your own water. Take your picnic litter away and respect the spring setting.
