València — Jardín del Turia

Right in the old riverbed, inside the Turia Gardens, is one of the favourite corners for families in València: Gulliver Park. It is a huge figure of the giant from Gulliver's travels, lying on the ground, around 70 metres long, turned into a playground that children explore via slides, ramps and stairs. Entry is free.

What to see and do

The idea is simple: children become the tiny Lilliputians who climb, slide and explore the body of the sleeping giant. The hair, the folds of the clothing and the legs become slides and nooks to run around in. It is a space designed for little ones to burn off energy while playing inside a structure they can walk through.
