Iglesia de San Antonio Abad
A 13th-century parish church, remodelled in the 17th century, with a later tower. It presides over the Plaza de la Iglesia, where it forms an ensemble with the adjoining 17th-century buildings. The Iglesia de San Antonio Abad is the parish church of Alcublas. The temple dates from the 13th and 17th centuries, with a more modern tower added to the complex. It stands on the Plaza de la Iglesia, where it forms an ensemble with the adjoining 17th-century buildings. In the old town it is the most characteristic religious building. The town celebrates San Antonio Abad on 17 January with bonfires and the blessing of animals, a feast that brings neighbours together around the saint throughout the day. The building still serves as the parish church.
