Jardí de les Hespèrides
—
Garden FREE
Right beside the Botanical Garden, almost everyone walks straight past without realising that behind the cypress walls lies a garden built around the Greek myth of the Hesperides, with 50 citrus varieties, pergolas and mythological statues. It's a small, orderly corner scented with orange blossom where locals sit and read, and there are hardly ever any tourists.
Entry is free and it's open all day (until 8pm in spring–summer, 6pm in winter). Go in March or April, with the orange trees in bloom and the whole garden smelling of blossom, and pair it with a wander through the Botanical Garden next door.
