La Dehesa de Soneja
A municipal natural site declared in 2002, annulled and declared again in 2008. Its surroundings have revealed Epipalaeolithic settlements, and it contains the Balsa de la Dehesa flora micro-reserve, declared in 2000, as well as the El Rodeno recreation area among pine woods.
La Dehesa de Soneja was declared a municipal natural site in 2002; the declaration was annulled in 2008 and made again that same year. The surroundings of La Dehesa have revealed human settlements from the Epipalaeolithic, which documents an early presence in the area. The Balsa de la Dehesa was declared a flora micro-reserve in 2000, within this same space. In addition, the El Rodeno recreation area lies among pine woods, and the whole is completed by other natural values that justify its protection. The administrative history of the protected status does not prevent the site from remaining a natural reference point for the municipality.
