Masia de Sant Onofre
An old farmhouse and Dominican convent founded in 1471 in the municipality of Museros. Its prior was Sant Lluís Bertran, a figure of the Dominican order and a Valencian preacher. After the church land sales it passed into private hands and today preserves part of the conventual structure.
The Masia de Sant Onofre is an old farmhouse and Dominican convent founded in 1471 in the municipality of Museros. Its prior was Sant Lluís Bertran, a figure of the Dominican order and a Valencian preacher. After the church land sales, the complex passed into private hands, which changed its use and its relationship with the surroundings. Today it preserves part of the conventual structure, enough to recognise the organisation of the house. The sum of those three moments, foundation, priorship and land sales, explains the present appearance of the building.
