Primitive Valencian Gothic oratory, probably 13th century, with a medieval Last Judgment panel by the Mestre de Borbotó.
In the Borja complex of Canals, the oratory is a rare piece of primitive Valencian Gothic, probably from the 13th century. It belonged to the house where Pope Calixtus III was born.
History
The oratory formed part of the Borja family palace before Alfonso de Borja became pope as Calixtus III. The chapel keeps its medieval structure, making it one of the oldest Gothic pieces in the district.

The primitive Gothic space and the medieval Last Judgment panel by the Mestre de Borbotó. The oratory is visited with the Borja tower and walls, from the 12th century and restored in the nineties.
