Parc Natural de la Serra Gelada
A marine-and-land natural park stretching between Benidorm, l'Alfàs del Pi and Altea, protected since 2005 as the first marine-terrestrial natural park of the Valencian Community. It is known for its cliffs, among the highest in the Mediterranean (over 300 m), its seabeds, and the viewpoints and trails that cross the range. From Benidorm it is reached via Rincón de Loix, with family-friendly routes toward Punta del Cavall.
Protected since 2005, it was the first marine-terrestrial natural park in the Valencian Community. Parc Natural de la Serra Gelada is shared between Benidorm, l'Alfàs del Pi and Altea, and its cliffs, more than 300 metres high, rank among the tallest in the Mediterranean.
What to see and do
The range alternates sheer rock faces dropping into the water, protected seabeds, and a network of trails and viewpoints. From Benidorm you enter via Rincón de Loix, with manageable routes toward Punta del Cavall and the Torre de les Caletes.
