Puerta del Ángel

One of the seven slopes and gates of the walled enclosure of La Villa de Requena. The access preserves a medieval passage with vaults that connected the San Nicolás suburb with the Plaza de la Jorra, with two panels of Valencian tiles, and an attractive staircase leading up. It was one of the entrances to the walled enclosure of the Barrio de La Villa, one of its seven slopes and doors. It preserves a passage with two sections of vaults that connected the San Nicolás suburb with the Plaza de la Jorra. In the passage there are two panels of Valencian tiles placed in the 70s of the 20th century. It is currently accessed via an attractive staircase.
