Playa de la Garrofera

Playa de la Garrofera is one of those scenes that seem impossible so close to a major city: a wild, undeveloped stretch of sand protected by a belt of dunes, in the very heart of the Devesa del Saler. There is no promenade and no rows of beach bars here, just golden sand, pine forest and the murmur of the Mediterranean. It forms part of the natural surroundings of l'Albufera and also preserves a naturist area, making it a peaceful retreat just minutes from València.

The atmosphere

The great appeal of la Garrofera is its untouched character. • It is easy to reach by car along the Saler road; combine it with a walk through the Devesa.
