How do you get to Alboraya from València?
The metro is the easiest way: lines 3 and 9 stop at the Alboraya-Peris Aragó and Alboraya-Palmaret stations. There are also EMT and metropolitan buses, and by car it's about 15 minutes via the V-21.

What is there to see in Alboraya?
Port Saplaya is the big draw: a seaside district of colourful houses and canals. It's also worth walking through the market gardens and chufa (tiger-nut) fields, stopping by the Ermita dels Peixets, and visiting the Museu de l'Orxata i la Xufa, where they explain how horchata is made.
Is it worth visiting with kids?
Yes. Port Saplaya has a calm beach and canals to stroll along, and the chufa fields plus the horchata museum make for an easy morning. All of it is just minutes from València.
