How do you get to Aldaia from València?
By train on Renfe's Cercanías line C-3 (towards Buñol), which stops in Aldaia. Also by metropolitan buses such as 160, 161 or 106, or by car on the A-3 (Madrid motorway). There's no Metrovalencia stop here.
How long does it take from València?
By car it's about 15-20 minutes on the A-3, depending on traffic, since it's only 10 km away. By train the ride takes around half an hour; factor in the wait for the next train and count on roughly 30 to 45 minutes total.
What is there to see in Aldaia?
Parque WOW, the church of the Mare de Déu de l'Anunciació and several chapels (la Saleta, Sant Miquel, el Carme). The MUPA (Museu del Palmito) explains the local fan-making trade and gives a good sense of the town; the old cistern and the TAMA theatre-auditorium are worth a look too.
Is it worth visiting with kids?
Yes. Parque WOW is built for families, and the rest of the centre (the fan museum, the chapels, the cistern) fits into a relaxed morning. Being so close to València, it makes an easy short trip.
