Cascada de los Vikingos
One of Anna's three waterfalls and one of the most striking points on the route, with a drop that stops everyone who passes. Since the trail was upgraded in late 2024, timber boardwalks let you cross the cascade without getting your feet wet, deep in the leafy river gorge.
The water drops hard through a tight, shaded stretch of the river gorge: this is the most startling point on the Three Waterfalls Route. The Cascada de los Vikingos is the second of Anna's three waterfalls in Anna, between Gorgo Gaspar and the Salto cascade.
The setting
In late 2024 this section of the trail was rebuilt with timber boardwalks and steps that let you cross the cascade without wetting your feet. That makes the spot easy to visit even when the flow runs high, without losing the feeling of being down among the greenery.
Getting there
The path starts at the end of Avenida de la Diputación, the same place as the rest of the town's water spots, and runs about 3 kilometres at moderate difficulty. It is not recommended for children under 6.
