The Castell de Borró is a fortress of Muslim origin that gave its name to the old territory of Borró, now part of Ròtova. It is declared a Bien de Interés Cultural under ministerial register R-I-51-0010922, dated 5 November 2002. The site preserves stretches of wall and remains of towers in a mountain setting, which makes it possible to recognise the layout of the fortification. Ròtova comprises the old castle and territory of Borró, so the place name keeps the memory of that earlier entity. The site preserves that historical value today.
